Panic Attack Insight
A person suffering from panic attack feels less control on his mind, abruptly changing emotions and in extreme cases even has a feeling of death. These emotional changes are more prevalent today than any other type of emotional disorder. Panic treatment is becoming a must know in today’s world due to the increase of panic attack.
The researchers claim that there are many causes for panic attack, but they are unable to narrow it down to a single major cause. Nevertheless, there are many prevailing theories given by renowned researchers who suggest that some life-changing or an extreme shocking situation in one’s childhood holds the key to its present day disorder like accidents, death of parents, etc. Another theory is based on the chemical changes in the most sensitive part of brain making it responsible for frequent panic attack.
Indications of Panic Attack
Panic attack can happen suddenly in-between a meeting, during conversations or at a work place. Panic treatment should be immediately monitored for the person to get back to normality before the attack gets worse.
Somatic symptoms are physically felt by the patient. The symptoms under this category include sweating, fainting, shortness of breath, nausea, palpitations, numbness, chills and also shaking.
Cognitive symptoms are generally felt by the person as a feeling disorder generated in the mind. These symptoms of this kind of panic attack cannot be detected by others and can be felt only by the sufferer of the attack. Under this category are: choking, derealization or depersonalization, feelings of losing control, chest pain and fear of dying.
Natural Panic Treatment for Panic Attack
The panic attack puts a patient in a very difficult situation as it does not allow the person to interact properly to others and increasing their already boosted stress levels. The most general panic treatment for a mild panic attack would be self-help, medications or therapies. The first treatment that a patient should undertake is to analyze the cause of panic attack. The panic attack may also be caused due to intake of allergical food which reduces the generation of neurotransmitters in brain. In advanced cases of panic attack, one should immediately consult a doctor who can help them by giving panic treatment to relieve the stress by the intake of anti-depressants like benzodiazepines and serotonin reuptake inhibitors.
If one can reach the definite cause of attacks by staying vigilant on the symptoms and noting the surroundings or change in diet, the treatment can be done very efficiently and in a short span. Another interesting method of stopping the panic attack is to hyperventilate the causes. This can be done easily by diverting one’s mind during the attack towards the calmness in the environment or move away from the place of incidence. Drinking a cup of hot tea, drinking a cold glass of water, shutting your eyes, resting for some time, running 100 yards, singing a song, whistling, thinking of something funny (don’t try all these at the same time) can really help the patient to recover immediately from the attack and feel normal in few minutes. Thus knowing how to administer the right panic treatment for a panic attack will come in handy if not for you at least for someone you know.
